The book describing the career of Marc Ravalomanana and his wife is now available in published form. The theme of the book is based on Marc Ravalomanana’s journey to overcome poverty. Delving deeper into its contents, the book reveals the Ravalomanana couple’s strategies and behaviors for overcoming poverty, while exploring relevant leadership principles. Written by Pastor Fidimalala Andriamasinoro, the book makes a significant contribution to understanding their inspiring journey. Coming from a precarious background, as the eighth and last child in his family, Marc Ravalomanana shares his experiences, testifying to his life with his wife over the 48 pages. In a single stroke, he conceals the keys and the path they have taken to fight poverty. The core of the book revolves around the notion of poverty, and Pastor Fidimalala Andriamasinoro highlights this central idea where Marc Ravalomanana shares that poverty has strongly affected his spirit, pushed him to reflect and prompted him to reclaim his hands. Marc Ravalomanana’s path to where he is today has not been without difficulties. The couple have been sustained by faith, courage, perseverance and an unshakeable will, factors that are undeniable in their eyes. Their ambition is to contribute to the revitalization and reconstruction of Madagascar. This approach gave rise to the MAP PLUS program, inspired by their own story. Marc Ravalomanana and his wife shared their story at a symposium organized by the Faculty of Theology last February. Priced at 2,000 Ariary, the book is open to all and can be purchased by anyone. Part of the book also tells the story of Neny Lalao Ravalomanana, former mayor of the urban commune of Antananarivo, and the changes she brought about. The book suggests that only those who have faced poverty can overcome it.
